Recycling laneway/ roadways offer distinct advantages

Speed - Cost - Specification - Adaptability - Use of existing material

Stone Crushing

Picture
The crusher crushes the ripped material to create enough fines to bind the road thus creating the top surface.
The crusher will crusher stone up to 20inches, as long as it is not solid rock and the tractor can travel over it. This is also ideal for crushing field stone where for example, ditches have been knocked.

The Kirpy stone crusher contains a anvil that allows you to change of material size. We feel that the Kirpy crusher is the strongest built machine for this type of work and produces the best results
as crushing stone is a heavy job on macinery.

Grading

Picture
The key to having a greater lifespan for your laneway is to eliminate surface water. At this stage we use the grader bland to create a camber or fall in whatever direction is best suited to carry away rainwater.
Three double acting services control the offset, grade and pitch of the blade.

We would advise digging water cuttings where possible through ditches etc

Compaction

Picture
The Vibrating plates offer unrivalled compaction to create the finished roadway with their unique ability to follow the camber of the road. Three independant plates vibrate the stone, and importantly, the stones around.
The compaction and subsequent exclusion of air pockets reduces the ingress of water and the overall longevity of the road.

 Binding

Picture
To further enhance the road and give a longer life span, the introduction of binding agents to the roadway can enhance the performace of the roadway and bind the aggregate to create a surface with improved durability. The inclusion of cement can create an effective surface for use in yards and as an alternative to concrete in many cases.

After spreading our binding agent, we then have to pulverise the material. Using our FAE MTM drum, we can mix the material to any depth up to 250mm and also have a water system on board so can incorporate water in the one pass, incresing or decreasing the volume of water at the touch of a button.
